Membership with SLA provides you with many opportunities for involvement, professional development, program supports, and more that are not available to non-members. You can be an individual member or your organization can join as an institutional member. Each type of membership provides different opportunities and benefits.

Fees
Individual membership fees vary based upon gross annual salary:
- Non Salaried, Student, Retired: $15.00
- Up to $39,000.00: $40.00
- $40,000.00 to $59,000.00: $70.00
- $60,000.00 to $89,000.00: $100.00
- $90,000.00 and up: $130.00

Institutional Memberships
Benefits
With an SLA institutional membership, institutions are entitled to:
- Have one voting delegate in SLA business matters
- Eligibility for all employees for SLA Continuing Education grants and program grants
- Eligibility for all employees to serve on SLA committees and participate in networks
- Free access for all employees to SLA’s members-only webinars offered throughout the year
- Discounted rates for all employees for the SLA annual conference
- Discounted rates for all employees for The Partnership’s Education Institute sessions
- Discounts to list job opportunities on The Partnership Job Board
- A 10% discount from Carr McLean
All SLA members are expected to abide by SLA’s Violence Policy and Prevention Plan.
Fees
Institutional Membership fees are based on staff size:
- 1-8 workers: $120.00
- 9-24 workers: $170.00
- 25-49 workers: $200.00
- 50-74 workers: $225.00
- 75+ workers: $250.00
