The Conference Attendance Continuing Education Grant is intended for any person who has not previously attended the Saskatchewan Libraries Conference, is currently working in a Saskatchewan library, and is seeking financial assistance with attendance at the conference. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously received a continuing education grant.

Successful grant applicants will be required to submit a final report, including all required receipts, within four weeks of the date of the conference. SLA will mail a cheque for the exact amount of eligible expenses (as per SLA’s expense rates) up to $750 after the final report and all receipts have been received.

SLA’s expense rates are:

• Hotel per night – $175
• Breakfast (per day) – $12
• Lunch (per day) – $18
• Supper (per day) – $23
• Mileage (per km) – $0.55
